Dunedin has mixed conditions depending on proximity to the Gulf. Near the coast, salt-tolerant natives like sea oats, saw palmetto, seagrape, firebush, and gumbo limbo thrive. Inland, live oak, muhly grass, coontie, wild coffee, and beautyberry work well.
Yes. Dunedin is excellent for pollinator gardens. Native milkweeds support monarch butterflies, and plants like firebush, tropical sage, and blanket flower bring in hummingbirds and native bees. We size these gardens to your space, from small courtyard beds to full-yard conversions.

Dunedin generally encourages sustainable landscaping and Florida-Friendly practices. Florida state law protects your right to install native plants. If your property has specific HOA rules, we handle that communication as part of the design process.
Our office is at 2621 4th Ave S in St. Petersburg, about 35 to 40 minutes from Dunedin. We service the area regularly and know the microclimates and soil conditions well.
Meet the family
The Wray-Weisensel Family
Kiamesha Wray and Justus Weisensel are the couple behind Living Spaces Gardening and Living Restorations. Family owned, family operated. Based in St. Petersburg since day one.
Kiamesha is a certified Florida Master Naturalist. She grew up on dig sites with her archaeologist mother and spent weekends camping along Florida's rivers and springs with her father. Justus is a premier woodworker and builder. He's the one grading your soil, placing the boulders, building the things that have to last.
Their kids fuel everything they do. Every native garden they restore is a piece of the Florida the next generation will inherit. Their crew has been with them for years. When they take on your project, these are the people who show up.
